This walk starts and ends at junction 21, Koningin Astrid Boulevard 55 Noordwijk.
Follow the junctions through this protected nature reserve with its dome-shaped shifting dunes. It's easy to see how the dunes once formed, a clear interplay of sand and wind. It is a unique and varied area for a lovely dune walk through the alternation of dune grasslands, shrubbery and woods with unusual plants and animals. In earlier centuries, a small dome stood on one of the highest dune tops. Nowadays, many luxurious villas have been built in the dunes.
You can choose to walk the route to or back over the beach. You walk straight from the dune onto the beach!
Tip: From mid-August to mid-March, you can wander through the dunes. There are no paths and you can really wander through the dunes.
