This walk starts and ends at node 54, 2de Loosterweg 2a Hillegom near Station Hillegom. On this route you will walk away from the hustle and bustle. Along the Leidsevaart, the bulb-growing country, De Oude Beek and via the centre of Hillegom back to the starting point. During your walk you will see daffodils, hyacinths and tulips in full bloom in spring (March to early May). At junction 49, you can make a little detour to the Tulip Barn and then pick up the route to junction 51. The summer flowers grow in the fields from summer to autumn. So it's almost the whole year that you can enjoy the beauty of (bulb) flowers in Hillegom!
