A splendour of colour that seems to come straight from a painting. Between Lisse and Hillegom, beautiful fields stretch out before you and show you one of the most colourful regions in the world. During the cycle route, you can enjoy the alternating bulb fields and green meadows. You will also pass by Kasteel Keukenhof, situated in the middle of the estate.
From Lisse, you cycle towards Warmond and the Kager lakes. On beautiful summer days, these lakes are coloured white by the many sailing boats, but they are also a great place to be on a bike. Keep pedalling and enjoy the beautiful view. Furthermore, you can enjoy a piece of traditional Dutch culture with windmills and cheese farms.
Please note: part of the route runs along the grounds of the Keukenhof flower exhibition. This part is only accessible on foot and for a fee from the end of March to mid-May.
